Visiting this website

When you open this website, our hosting infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This may include your IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser, device and operating-system information. Server logs are used for reliable operation, troubleshooting and protection against misuse, and are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Our webfonts are self-hosted. Visiting the site does not create a request to Google Fonts or another external font provider.

Contact enquiries

If you use the enquiry form or email us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, project type, selected package, budget, timeline, how you found us and your message. We use it to respond, prepare an offer and manage any resulting business relationship.

Form enquiries are delivered through Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Graph. Microsoft may process the message and related technical data as our service provider. We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle the request and meet contractual, accounting or legal obligations.

Cookies and consent storage

The site stores your analytics choice locally in your browser under mirae.analytics-consent. This is necessary to remember whether you accepted or refused analytics and is not used for advertising. You can change the choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. We use it to understand aggregate traffic, popular content and interactions such as downloads. It may process visited pages, timestamps, approximate location, browser and device information, screen resolution, referrer and interaction events. For visitors in Switzerland, the EU and the UK, Google states that IP addresses are used for coarse location lookup and discarded before they are logged.

When enabled, Google Analytics normally sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and preserve session state. Google documents a default lifetime of up to two years, subject to browser limits and our Analytics settings. Google Signals, advertising storage and advertising personalization are disabled on this site. Our legal basis is your consent.

Google may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Google describes its safeguards, including the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks and standard contractual clauses, in its data-transfer framework information. See also Google’s Privacy Policy.

External links and media

Links to services such as Instagram do not send data to those services until you follow the link. If a page contains externally hosted video, the provider may receive technical and usage data when the video is loaded or played; its own privacy terms then apply.

Legal bases and disclosure

We process enquiries to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, and for our legitimate interests in communicating with clients and operating a secure website. Optional analytics is based solely on consent. We disclose personal data only to service providers needed to operate the website and communications, or where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Subject to applicable Swiss and European data-protection law, you may request information about your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact contact@mirae.design. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where applicable, your local European supervisory authority.

Security and changes

We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change; the current version and date are published on this page.
